Boondoggle... AGAIN?

Williamson, listed as "Spiritual
adviser to Oprah Winfrey', has
announced her candidacy for president
by regurgitating that old
REPARATIONS Boondoggle, suggesting the
the American taxpayer pay
reparations of $100,000,000,000 to
descendants of slavery.
(Please
permit a short time out while I roll
on the floor laughing my Black
ass off) ... 
OK, I'm back.
One
hundred billion works out to $2500 for
every Black person in the
country and that would be real nice, but
if the government does that,
it should give ten TRILLION dollars to
Native Americans. If ANYONE
deserves reparations they sure as hell
do!
Otherwise
this is not only another idea that will
never see the light of
reality, but its another dumb ass idea
from another dumb ass
politician, expecting more dumb ass
voters to support it, which would
require suspension of an intelligent
thought process.
But
then I imagine these ideas are presented
where they are most likely
to be accepted without any real thought
at all.
If
reparations are paid from the Treasury,
that means TAXPAYERS, which
means some people would be paying for
the crimes of people they may
have no connection to, and some people
would receive this money for
offenses not created against THEM.
Would
people like Barack Obama, who has no
slavery in his ancestry that we
know of, or naturalized citizens whose
ancestors may not have owned
slaves, receive money or would they be
paying? What about reparations
for the descendants of WHITES who fought
and died trying to END
slavery? How would government determine
who gets paid, how much and who pays?
Would
illegal immigrants be exempt from the
process? If they are here,
shouldn't they pay too?
I
can see this idea will suffer the same
fate as that old "Forty
acres and a mule" myth that some Black
people THINK we were
robbed of.
Forty
acres, a mule and $2500 sounds pretty
good, though.
That
would leave me with 75 acres, a mule
(which I could sell for cash to some
fool
who falls for this reparations crap) and
at least $2600 cash money!
